These flashing toothbrushes go after after 60 seconds so kids know how long to brush - thanks for the tip, Rebekah!  This is what my photos look like when I wait 'til the end of the day!

I just love her furrowed brow in this one...which card to play, which card to play?

I'm want to finish on a strong note with my 365 and not during one of my "365 slumps,"
but it's hard this close to the end with so much going on!

They have been wrestling a lot lately...

When you were born two years ago, precious one, our lives got a little louder, a little crazier and infinitely more beautiful.
What a gift you are to us - we are so thankful!!!

336/365

I wanted to do some more pics of me with the kids before the 365 ends.  Of course, I wasn't thrilled with the results, BUT I know one day these will be such a treasure.  Anyway, I thought it would be fun to share some of the outtakes...

See how I taught him to hold the remote inconspicuously?

I haven't taught her yet.

And we're done.

335/365

Got inspired on an inspiration forum in Clickin' Moms from a post by Sarah Wilkerson.
Would love to try this again with an 'assistant' to parachute the bed sheet!

After nearly 2 years of having the dog sleep in his room, he sometimes asks that she sleep downstairs.  In his defense, she had made herself very much at home, sometimes leaving little room for her human companion on his queen sized bed.  Doesn't she look sad?!

Daddy on toothbrushing duty

331/365

I've been trying out some sturdy hair styles for when she goes to preschool in a few short weeks to keep her hair out of her eyes.  I'm guessing her teacher won't adjust her clip every 15 minutes like her mama does.  ; ) This braid made it through a very rigorous morning of playing and her nap.

330/365: Fort Worth Zoo

One of my roommates from college invited us to the Fort Worth Zoo.  I loved seeing him get genuinely excited about the different animals he would see.  I was genuinely excited to see my friend - the animals were a fun bonus...

329/365

Yes, the numbers just jumped from 318 to 329.  No, I can't explain it, but I know 329 is accurate, and I want to get things in order as I near the end [which is closer than I thought!]

The Clickin' Moms creativity exercise for this month is "Humanizing a Non-Human Subject or Object."  This is my first try this month - I want to try again and actually be "create"ive rather than just stumbling across something.  Can you see the girl I found on the kids' art table?!

317/365

I just can't help snapping a photo when I find these two playing together...

316/365

Got up to watch the sunrise over a potential shooting location for baby girl's 2-year-old portraits... After seeing that the moon was still up, I decided I must be very tired, got in my car and promptly drove to Starbucks.

315/365

Love those cheeks, those lips and that wild summer hair...

Some mornings, he goes to get in her crib and chat before mommy or daddy comes up...

"Dis funny [pointing to pants].  Dis funny [pointing to shirt].  Dis funny.  Dis funny."

She had to say it a few times for me to get that she thought it was funny that her jammie top and jammie bottoms didn't match.
It's been a long, hot summer, baby girl ; )
